Monday November 7

 Hello Families,

It was a cold and snowy day today! Unfortunately we were inside because it was quite chilly with the wind chill! Please see below for an update of our ongoing classwork:

In writing students are working on developing skills to write well formed, cohesive paragraphs that make sense. We are using the book the best excuse to assist us in acquiring these skills.

In Math students have learnt several strategies to add three digit numbers. Please see attached page for your reference.

In Social Studies we have drawn the flags of and begun study of four countries, Peru, Ukraine, Tunisia and India. Students have been learning the meaning of remembrance day and what the symbol of the poppy means.

Reminders:

Remembrance Day Assembly on Thursday November 10

No School on Friday November 11

Have a great night and stay warm!

Ms. Molsberry
