We have been studying animal habitats and homes in our classroom. Students worked with their grade 5 buddies to examine different types of bird nests and how they might build those nests. This morning our class went out to the pond to create our very own birds nests! Please see pictures below,

Students had a great and productive day! This morning we practiced our cursive writing and worked on writing stories about the mixed beasts we have created. In the afternoon we headed outside and did a spring scavenger hunt!
