Wednesday January 11

 Hello Families,

Just a reminder that students are beginning their recorder unit shortly in music class.

This year the recorder unit will begin mid-January for all students in Grades 3, 4 and 5.  The school has a limited number of loaner recorders however they would only be used during class time. We recommend each student order a recorder if they do not already own one. Cost of the recorder and music book will be $10.00, payable through your MyCBE account.

1. Click on Student Fees and Service Registration

2. Select School based optional fees

3. Add Recorder to cart

4. Pay for fee

All ordering for recorders must be in and paid for prior to Winter Break on December 23, 2022, to ensure your child has a recorder for January.

The book that comes with the fee will stay at home for practicing and the recorder is to 'live in your backpack'.

An additional reminder is those students who signed up for Lego club will begin tomorrow at lunch time,

Have a great day,

Ms. Molsberry

Monday December 19

 Hello Families,

Today was extremely busy in our classroom. This morning our class did a team building challenge and worked as a group to draw and decorate a large Christmas tree. Students worked together to use kind language and each other's strengths to help build classroom community. Students also used flyers to help them shop the classroom. Each student was given a budget of $150.00 and had to find items to buy for three friends. This was helpful in practicing addition and subtraction. Students also pretended they were elves and designed their very own toys.

Reminders:

Last day of school is on Thursday December 22

PJ Day December 22

Please remember to keep all toys at home,

Have a great evening,

Ms. Molsberry
