I hope everyone had a lovely long weekend! Today in class we learned about non standard and standard measurements. Students anwsered a critical thinking question about measurement and practiced measuring items in the classroom using centimeters. We also learned about the rocky mountains and how they are formed over 80 million years ago,

Hello Families,
We have had a wonderful week at school this week with lots of outdoor time! Students have begun creating their own stories in writing. In Science we have begun to learn about Landforms and Landascapes in Alberta and how they form. In math students have been working on creating their own zoo using perimeter and area!

Hello Families,
Today was a beautiful spring day! We continued to learn about natural disasters including hurricane, tornado, tsunami. Today students drew a before and after picture of the Frank Slide. We have been exploring Haikus and Limericks in class. We have even been writing our own!
